Honeymoon Canada Part 4

Maligne canyon was unbelievable, The depth and sheer ruggedness of it was beyond imagination in respect to how many years it took for it to evolve.

The quicksand area was at Lake Annette , I tried to convince Stacie to go verify if indeed it was QUICKSAND but she wasn't a taker. Hey I would of pulled her out or died trying.

In Waterton they have a Hotel Prince Of Whales , it stands out like a sore thumb and is visible any and everywhere ,

Next to P.O.W. is Cameron lake again with the Glacier visible for all to enjoy.

Our last night on the road we gave in and stayed in Leavenworth,Wa. It was a long Hot ride that day and just to wrap up a wonderful Honeymoon I suprised Stacie with a nice room and very comfortable bed. We ate at King Ludwigs for supper , enjoying a bavarian variety dish for two.

To put a wrap on this , we traveled 3000 miles and spent 10 days in a tent for two . We ate out 3 times , I had packed enough food on my bike so we could have some delicious meals . We even treated ourselves to smores on a few occasions.

Our next major ride will be spring 2010 for my annual trip to see my mom in Az. and then the plan in June is 3 weeks going to Alaska.

Until then it will be short rides and trying to survive the winter here in the N.W.
