Our First Offroad Ride

Billy taking a breather fom the heat . It was in the 90's and with gear on it seemed over 100.

A fallen soldier in the Lava Cast Forrest . Check out the twisted formations!

Sign say's it all. Pretty awesome and it is right out our back door ( as crow flys , or in our case as the GS rides)

Stacie couldn't recover on this one, she had a few close calls as did I and 1 time prior to this I saw her fly from one side of the road to the other , she dug it out . I admired her for the grit and the fact she was able to kick some butt!

On top of Sugar Pine Mtn . We set out for the Lava cast Forrest on dirt, sand, and gravel . We rode 30 miles on a variety of roads/Paths .

Lava Cast Forrest , where trees stood when the volcanoe erupted some 6000 years ago.

This was a , well it wasn't a road and at this point I said hey this is getting too narrow , we walked it further and it turned into a deer trail. Gotta love that GS adventure.

Sisters and Mt Bachelor view from Lava cast Forrest.

On top of Sugar Pine Mtn . Was a 1/2 mile up and we thought we our destination was to of been anywhere but here . The view was worth it. Wonder if I can get cell service up here LOL

Oh right you da man all pumped up and looking frisky , it was HOT!

Bikes on the gravel into N.N.V.M.

I came up with this idea to move more weight forward , especially when we tour . With all camping gear and such the front end feels to light and tends to wander . Bought this PVC tube and put our tools in it . The tools weigh about 15 lbs or so . Tried it on our offroad ride and it hit the fender 2-3 times on hard impact. This is the first rev.

Close up of the tool tube . I have access to each end to pull out the tools.

Dandelion bud/flower call it what you will . Ok a weed but looked pretty cool.

The shop is completed and the TOYS are happy in their stable . I have installed 1/2 of the outlets with the lights and other outlets yet to go.
