Gravel , Gravel and More Gravel Rides

Oh Sweet Pea , won't you bloom for me , Stacie has this thing for flowers . Hey it's better than shopping , so I give her time to touch and addmire LOL.

Hey can you see me now?

Hey close the door , can't you see I'm reading my book? Where does a person have to go to get some privacy?
Dixie Mtn. Range Grange Hall from a flowers view . Home of the Strawberry Festival each and every year on Fathers Day w/e.

Stacie admiring the facilities. I dare you !

Look out tower on Dixie Mtn. , no way to ride up and get a close up but we would of liked to see if we have the skills.

Bamboo Garden found in route .

1 lane bridge in honor of Mr. Birkel. Thank you for your service Sir.

I think more signage is in order here for us to get a clear idea of where we are headed. Located of of Skyline Blvd.

This was a ride we had to pay attention to terrain. Limbs down on path and a lot of low hanging stuff . Nice to have some variety and it also makes the ride more interesting.

Sun came out and began to warm us enough to shed some gear.

Pittsburg Road out of Vernonia, funny we always discussed riding this and before Rawhyde I couldn't get the woman to commit. Was a fogy morning and actually great riding weather . Start to finish was about 16 miles of gravel and ended up out in St. Helens where we used to live.

More of Pittsburg road and the elements.

Are you ready old man or are you just going to stand there and take pictures all day ?

Billy and Chuck ( met Chuck at redmond Rally , Rawhyde Training class) discussing the ride . Looks like they are confused eh both with hands on hips , indication of confusion or just perhaps waititng for Stacie to return from the woods.....
