Stopped the first night at Hot Springs C.G. in Idaho east of Lowman on the Garden Valley parkway out of Banks . Great road with some beautiful scenery.
This was to be the norm for this ride , numerous wild fires and this was a field east of Stanley where the firefighters made base camp.
On Santiam Pass you couldn't see Mt. Washington for the fires in the area.
Another fire in the hills .
Sawtooth Range, and Galena range outside of Stanley and near Ketchum. Great road to ride and packed with views that have you stopping way too often to admire them.
Bridger Teton C.G. , had to keep my eye on this guy . I think he wanted a pair of drawers to hide his nut in. LOL
Arco , hey it is their town and they can proclaim what they
want . Me I'm not sure who was the first and it's not on my list of priorities to find out. Hey but back to the RIDE!
The Valley somewhere on the ride from Stanley through Ketchum, Id.

Jackson , Mt. those who have been there also have this photo . Thats a lot of antlers , I hear you can purchase them at Walmart !
I saw this set up in Jackson , a goldwinger pulling a 57 Chevy . Cool .
For the people who want to live in the past and never leave the present .
Teton Mtn. Range , you could sit here all day and press the shutter . The views are breath taking and makes you proud to live in America . We have the freedom and ability to see and experience our great outdoors.
Keep your eyes on the road , might just regret glancing in that mirror for one last view. I hear this area has wildlife that tends to wander into your path.
Jenny Lake with the Tetons in background.
Cheif Joseph Bypass was a nice but very windy ride going North of Cody on 296. Elevation of 7264 feet was at places so windy I didn't dare stop for photos for fear of it blowing me over.
Another view on C.J.B.
This tunnel was a long one at Buffalo B. Dam, had to ride through 3 of these and could only marvel at the time and effort it took to construct .
Nymph Lake in Yellowstone.
I had gourmet dinner of Mac&Cheese with some salmon mixed in.
You come to Yellowstone to view the Bison and on this trip they didn't disappoint.
Mammoth Hot Springs area , the weather was about to change for the worse.
Better get the rain gear out , Mammoth H.S.
Caribou in Yellwstone
I left Yellowstone out of the N.E. gate and rode Beartooth Bypass with an elevation of 10,947 . I have never been so high in my life. The road was great , I can't describe the views they are unimaginable . You have to see them for yourself.
Beartooth , the ride was cold, windy and dangerous. Everyone is distracted by the views and at every turn/corner they were in MY LANE. Oh don't mention the bicycle riders two wide and taking up half a lane. Needless to say I was happy to survive this fantastic road.
I rode in weather like this on my 3rd day in. Those clouds are obstructing a view of a large Mtn. I was riding here towards Columbus, Mt. to see my Aunt Alice.
Aunt Alice . great to see and visit with her
Ashton ,Id home of a dear old friend from our Army days.
Upper Mesa Falls near Ashton
