Crater Lake 10/10

Was a cold morning 33 degrees 10/13/10 when I left Bend . It has been a few years since I have visited and no matter how many times you go there is a need to take photo's. Never mind you already have the same shot at least a few times. Darth sitting or leaning with the new Happy Trails Panniers , I like these much better than the BMW Vario Bags.

The Lodge was empty as well as the park Just the way a biker likes it NO TOURISTS to run me over.

The Pinnacles were formed by hot gases when Mt Mazama erupted some 7700 years ago. It is believed they are hollow.

Whitebark Pines and the deformation from the elements.

The wind was blowing and the surface was rough, no matter the conditions Crater Lake is something to see for yourself.
