Dual Sport Paulina Peak

This is the view from the Peak looking West. Check out the pattern of the Lava flow , pretty cool!

The ride up to the top was steep and had a few suprises, like a big hole that wasn't visible until you hit it OR in my case deep in it.

Looking down on Paulina Lake and the valley.

Don't ask, who knows what the man was thinking or perhaps he is just a tad bit off his rocker!

Looking down on Le Femme and Darth

This woman has really jumped in head first for Dual Sporting since our training last year. Awesome.

Little more of the lave flow.

Hey what you doing after our ride? What you say about a movie and a glass of wine?

7984 , the air is fresh , view is awesome and my riding partner is THE BEST!

Paulina Lake

Looks very informative , yes it is!

The view going up the last 1/2 mile to the peak.

Nice view of the valley. I've heard you can see Mt. Shasta on a clear day.

Ok , lets get going .

In Oregon we have tree's a plenty, with views as far as the eye can see.

I let the woman lead when we are offroad so that leads to constant visor cleaning. hard to see when all is dusted over. I carry a saturated wax pad and soft rag to ensure the vision is clear of dust and debris.

Looking down and feeling high !

The trail FS 9710 had a lot of variables in the fact that we encountered hard pac,big rocks, very soft dirt/sand. It just wasn't your average boring hard pack and in the end it was a great ride. Round trip was about 60 miles and 4 hours . We had to rest as well as cool down numerous times.

Hopefully YOU didn't eat or experience the dust on this trip as I did. Enjoy .
